The Minton

This is a 3+1 condominium apartment renovated in different themes in different areas of the house. The home owners wanted the feel of escapism in their home, where they could feel like there were in different environments when they entered the different spaces of the house. The living room, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom are designed with a Cottage theme, where the home owners wanted to recreate their past vacation at a bed and breakfast inn. The common bathroom is designed with earth tones to simulate being out in the Safari. A stone sink sits on the quartz vanity and anchors the whole feel of the space being outdoors. The master bathroom is designed with fun beach elements like imprinted sea shells on the sand coloured walls and Nautical decorations to really bring out your imagination of being at the beach. The original bathroom doors were replaced with white saloon doors that simulate the entrance of a public changing room at the beach. The tiles were overlayed with blue mosaic to represent the ocean, and wood printed tiles imitating beach hut floors. And the centrepiece of the master bathroom is the see-through glass bathtub that contains the "ocean" when you take a bath.
